V.V.Rouleaux. Westminster. 102 Marylebone Lane,  London W1U 2QD.

Founded by Annabel Lewis in 1990, the V.V.Rouleaux shop in Marylebone High Street is an extraordinary and colourful cornucopia of over 5000 luxury ribbons, tassels, braids, flowers, feathers, cords and other trimmings in 100 colours. They are intended for use in clothes making and millinery, but also in art, craft, and around the home.

V.V.Rouleaux describe their staff as being famed for their creative madness, as well as for their excellent knowledge of craft, weddings, interiors, millinery, costumier, display, decoration and fashion. They also run regular workshops on subjects such as tassel making and millinery design.

The shop is famous for the way it decorates itself at Christmas. The whole outside of the corner shop is wrapped in exuberant decoration. In 2017 it was pom poms and tassels. In previous years it was wrapped in wool, rosettes, and feathers. Well  worth a visit for that alone.
